Choir Students Chosen to Perform at Carnegie Hall

Congratulations are in order for Junior Kayla B and Sophomore Jennifer G! The Selection Board from the prestigious High School Honors Performance Series Carnegie Hall/Sydney Opera House has chosen these two Foundation Academy choir students to represent the finest young performers internationally by performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City January 30 – February 3rd.

Their acceptance into this elite group is a direct result of the talent, dedication, and achievements demonstrated in their application and auditions. Their participation will include the following:

  • Perform in one of two elite Honors Performances at Carnegie Hall under the direction of renowned conductors.
  • Work with master conductors and build their performing resume.
  • Rehearse and interact with other Finalists from across the world.
  • Celebrate their accomplishments on a Finalist Celebration Cruise aboard a private yacht.
  • See a Broadway Show, visit New York’s most famous landmarks, and experience the Big Apple!

We are so excited for Kayla and Jennifer! We are also thankful to Choir Director, Mr. Goff, who encourages these opportunities for our students!
