The Foundation Academy Lions competed against the South Lake Eagles last Friday night in the Spring Football Game which gave us a great preview of the young talent on roster going into the 2024-2025 season this upcoming fall.
Gianni Rodriguez, one of the highest ranked Quarterbacks in the class of 2029 showed great promise with two touchdown passes. Cole Huntley, class of 2027 caught two touchdowns including a long 64 yard touchdown catch. Ethan Pate, class of 2026 emerged as one of the best athletes on the field playing on both sides of the ball and had a big fumble recovery early in the first quarter.
The 2024 Spring Football game also had a record amount of attendance and alumni for a spring game. Pictured below is all the football alumni that attended the spring game with Head Coach, Andre Walker and Former Foundation Academy hall of fame football Coach Brad Lord.
The Lions will begin the regular season August 23rd @ Home vs Lakeland Christian at 7:30 PM.
